Skara mamai / Echo flower shawl

Seniai nieko nerodžiau, bet paprasčiausiai nebuvo ką parodyt. Bandau taisyti padėtį.
Mamos gimtadieniui pradėjau ruoštis iš anksto, baigiau jai skirtą skarą gerokai anksčiau nei tikėjausi, gal net mėnuo iki gimtadienio dar buvo likęs. O gimtadienis šiandien, skara padovanota, mama patenkinta dovana :)


It's a long time since I showed something. I'm trying to fix this.
I have started to prepare present for my mother much earlier than I shoud and finished it almost month ago. 
Her birthday is today and she likes a gift :)

Išsirinkau Echo flower shawl skarą. Raštas įdomus ir dar man (ir žinau, kad mamai taip pat) patinka tai, jog nėra centrinės linijos su uždėtų akių takeliais. Bendras vaizdas toks:

I picked Echo flower shawl. The pattern is interesting and I like that center line of it (my mother likes it too). The whole shawl looks like this:

Mezgta iš 100 % virdžinijos vilnos (siūlai "Roma", 100g. - 750 m.), sumegzta ~80 g.

Skara "Gail" / Gail shawl

Numezgiau draugei dovanų skarą iš tamsiai mėlynos spalvos plonos pusvilnės. Patikėkit, sunku rast gražios mėlynos spalvos plonų pusvilnės siūlų.
Skaros "stuburas" yra 65 cm., o ilgoji kraštinė 135 cm. ilgio. Ji minkšta ir lengvutė.

I've knitted a dark blue semi-wool shawl for my friend. It was a gift. And believe me, it is difficult to find nice dark blue and thin semi-wool yarn. 
The "backbone" of the shawl is 65 cm, the longest edge is 135 cm long. It's soft and light.

Paklotukai / Placemats

Vis neparodau pabaigtų nertų paklotukų, kuriuos narpliojau apie metus (aišku, tik kartais paimdama, nes ir kitų darbų, idėjų turėjau). Tai tas pats nėrinys, kuris per valandą tik po 3,5 cm pajudėdavo.

I haven't shown my placemats, which took me about a year to finish (it's clear without a saying, that I had other works and ideas to do during this time). It's the thing, that I've managed to increase only by 3,5 cm. per hour. 

Tai buvo dovana draugui, nes turėtus paklotukus jau buvo beveik laikas pakeist naujais. O  mažulėliai paklotukai po arbatos puodeliu irgi pravers.

These placemats were a gift for my friend, because he needed new ones already. And a few little placemats under a cup of tea will be usefull too.

Mėlynai baltas/Blue and white

Pagaliau nusimezgiau sau susiaučiamą megztuką.
Finally I've knitted a cardigan for myself. 

      

Pirmą kartą mezgiau reglano rankoves. Susiūtos tik rankovės nuo riešo iki pažasties, visa kita megzta be siūlių.
It was my first time knitting reglan sleeves. This knit is seamless, only the part of the sleeve between wrist and armpit is sewn.

Raštas visiškai elementarus. Norėjosi ko nors paprasto.
The stitch is completely simple. I wanted something simple. 

Kaip?: Drobės raštas/ How?: Linen stitch

Kaip jau minėjau, susižavėjau šiuo raštu pamačiusi tai.
Kadangi angliškas rašto aprašymas nepasirodė aiškus, susiradau video pamokėlę.

As I have mentioned, I fell in love with this stitch, when I found this.
The description of linen stitch in english didn't look clear, so I found a video lesson.

Mezginio pusės atrodo taip:

Visų pirma, noriu pasakyti, kad visada pirmąją akį eilėje nukeliu, kad ir ką megzčiau. Man toks kraštas patinka labiau. Atrodo taip:

First of all, I want to say, that  I always slip the first stich in a row whatever I knit. I like the edge then. It looks as shown below:

Video pamokėlėje buvo pradėta megzti nuo pirmos eilės akies. Yra nedidelis skirtumas. Jūs darykit taip, kaip patogiau, o aš parodysiu savąjį variantą.
Pagal minėtą pamokėlę, šiam raštui megzti reiktų lyginio skaičiaus akių ant virbalų, bet aš užsidedu nelyginį, nes pirmąją akį noriu nukelti.

In video lesson it was started to knit from the first stich. There is a small difference. You can do it as you like, but I"ll show you my version of it.
If you do it as it is shown in the video lesson, which I've mentioned, you need to cast on even mumber of stitches, but I cast on odd number of them, because I want to slip the first one.

Taigi pirmiausiai ir nukeliam pirmąją akį. Išmezgame vieną gerą.
First, slip the first stitch. Knit one. 

Siūlą perkeliame į priekinę mezginio pusę. Vieną akį nukeliame.
Move yarn to front. Slip one stich.

Grąžiname siūlą už mezginio. Vėl išmezgame viena gerą akį.
Siūlą grąžiname prieš mezginį, vieną akį nukeliame. Perkėlus siūlą už mezginio, išmezgame gerą akį.

Return yarn to back. Knit one stitch. 
Slip one stitch with yarn in front. Move yarn to back and knit one stitch.

Taip ir kartojam: viena gera, viena nukelta, kol lieka pora akių eilėje. Jas abi išmezgam gerosiomis.
Repeat like this until there are two stitches left. Knit them.

Pradedame antrąją eilę.
Pirmąją akį nukeliame ir perkeliam siūlą už mezginio.

The second row.
Slip the first stitch and move yarn to back.

Vieną akį nukeliame. Išmezgame vieną blogą.
Slip one stitch. Purl one. 

Vėl laikydamos siūlą už mezginio nukeliam vieną akį. Išmezgam vieną blogą. Ir taip kartojam iki eilės pabaigos.
Hold yarn in back and slip one. Purl one. And repeat like this until the row ends.

Taigi, raštas megztas taip:
I eilė: nukėlus pirmą akį, kartojama: viena gera akis ir viena nukelta, laikant siūlą prieš mezginį. Paskutinės dvi akys eilėje - gerosios.
II eilė: nukėlus pirmąją akį, kartojama: viena nukelta akis, laikant siūlą už mezginio, ir viena bloga akis.

So, knitted this way:
I row: first, slip one stitch and repeat: knit one, slip one with the yarn in front. Knit the last two stitches.
II row: slip one stitch and repeat: slip one with the yarn in back, purl one.

Raštas nėra labai sudėtingas, o atrodo įdomiai, neįprastai. Ir dryžiai atrodo gražiai.
This stitch isn't very difficult, but looks interesting. And stripes look nice. 

Šiuo raštu aš mezgiau vyrišką šaliką.
I've knitted a men's scarf in this stitch.
